Leaving a Legacy of Faith

Here are a list of my favorite Bible resources. I hope they'll encourage you and your family in your walk with the Lord. With all the conflicting messages our children receive in the world, it's important to send a clear message at home about what is True and what is not.

Biblegateway.com - This is the first place I go. It has all of the major Bible translations available, so you can study the same passage in different translations and compare the wording. One of my favorite features is the KEYWORD SEARCH. If you want to study one particular topic, you can easily see what the Word has to say on this subject using this great feature. Simply type in the keywords - sowing and reaping for example, and every verse in the Old and New Testament containing those two words is retrieved.

Blueletterbible.org - provides you with an extensive list of:
- commentaries (Bible scholars comments on each chapter of the Bible) &
- concordances (literal definition of each word in it's original language).

Biblemap.org - simply type in the passage of scripture you are studying and a map will direct you to the places of significance for this period.

Children's curriculum - 325 free downloadable childrens Bible lessons, from Genesis to Revelation, including Bible memory, Bible stories, coloring pages & games. Part of Calvary Chapel in Santa Anna, California.
Homeword.com - an extensive list of articles and activities for children and families.

Oneplace.com - the best site I've found for free audio lessons. You'll find lessons by James Dobson, Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, Chuck Swindoll, and MANY OTHERS! You can even find a series of classics by A.W. Tozer!
