Care.com offers affordable membership (after your free trial) where you can search for an experienced sitter, review their profiles, read past reviews, and even run a background check. My husband and I adore our pup and are very choosy about who we'll hire to watch her. Care.com gives us full profiles of local people who we can meet and informally interview to make the best choice possible. I always hated the idea of locking our girl up in a cage and now I don't even have to think about that!
