When I was little I absolutely adored Rainbow Brite! I loved her blonde hair, her colorful outfit and her fun, magical world. I use to beg my mom to read Rainbow Brite books over and over. I can remember one story time very vividly. The story told about a fawn who was eating bark off a tree and how upset he was that the bark was bitter. I stopped my mom and asked her what bitter meant. Oh, I can remember this like it was yesterday! After pausing for a moment she led me in the kitchen and took down a small glass bottle from the cabinet. She put vanilla extract on my finger and had me try it. Blah! I'll never forget how gross that was. (For those of you who are curious, the book was Rainbow Brite and the Brook Meadow Deer)

I remember Rainbow Brite from when I was a kid, but I never watched the show or had the doll.
I loved Rainbow Bright, but my favorite was the popples!
