He shares simple tips like using energy efficient appliances, no VOC paint with low fumes, and cork flooring to keep allergens at bay.My favorite idea was to use earth-friendly zero VOC paint. These paints carry less fumes and less toxins. This would have been a good thing to know when my husband was painting the nursery. If we had bought zero VOC paint I could have stayed in the house while he painted or maybe even helped him paint!
