KinderCare may be called a day care by some but they are far more than that, they are a learning center. They teach children social skills, cognitive skills, physical skills and more. I am highly impressed with what I've read about them on their website. Unfortunately there isn't one close to me but I wanted to share KinderCare's greatness in case you may be interested and there is a location near you.

The thought of trusting any old stranger with a child frightens me. It's important to know that they are going to a center that has done thorough background checks on their employees, that their centers are clean, organized, well-staffed with trained individuals, and will actually CARE for the children.

From KinderCare's press release, "In a nationwide survey of parents, KinderCare Learning Centers learned that when selecting a school, 76% of parents are most concerned that their school of choice employs quality and passionate teachers and 80% want to know that their child is excited to take part in activities while at school."

After looking into their programs, I would definitely recommend them to any family. If you are interested in a finding a KinderCare center near you, simply visit their website and type your zip code in the search bar. I'm confident you’ll be impressed with what you find.

I was recently introduced to FedEx Office blog, Out of Office, that provides different tips and templates to help make you more creative. Their blog provides numerous ideas for projects and crafts and offers suggestions for unique ways to personalize baby showers, Father's Day gifts and more!

The Out of Office blog sent me the materials to make my own personalized book marks. You can print off your own template and work with your kids to kick of summer and get them excited about reading during their vacation.

You can color them, add photos, stickers, ribbons, craft paper, and anything you can dream up!

Their blog has a Home Helper section of projects, as well as, Parent Projects, Excellent Events, Watercooler Wisdom, Holiday Hints, and Business Builder categories with great ideas to help your be organized and efficient.

Recently, I had the chance to try out the popular artificial sweetener, Splenda! Not only that but I got this awesome Splenda Tastebook filled with simple, yummy, and healthy recipes. I have to be honest with you...about 6 months ago I bought a large package of Splenda from one of those big box stores. I was excited to find a bag big enough that I could use it for cooking...but I never used it, not once! I've been afraid of a bitter aftertaste. So when I had the opportunity to try Splenda and recipes that work well with Splenda I was excited.

Once I got the tastebook in my hands I was pumped to make healthier choices and I made a plan to try a new dessert every week. So far I've tried their strawberry & banana smoothie and it was heavenly!!! I couldn't believe how good it was. With my next Splenda experiment I'll have to share the recipe and a few pictures.

I encourage you to give it a try, you just might like it. : )

I was given the wonderful opportunity from Mom Central and Dove to try Dove’s new Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Promises! I've been a big fan of Dove chocolate for a while and was excited to hear about their new peanut butter & chocolate combo.

The milk chocolate is very smooth and rich and the peanut butter is creamy (creamier than say a Reese's Cup, which I also like!). They are small enough to enjoy without feeling too guilty. I always forget about the little inspiring message inside the Dove promises chocolate wrappers but when I remember to look they are quite cute. I just ran into the kitchen to get one so I could share the message (any excuse for chocolate right?). My message says, "Remind yourself that it's okay not to be perfect." I love it!
